  • Carlyn Peterson received a Professors of the Future award for the class of 2018-19.

  •  Sarah Klopatek selected as a 2019-20 Professors for the Future Fellow.
  •  Maci Mueller won Third place in The International Society for Biosafety Research (ISBR) Conference photo competition with her photo entitled "Editing".
  • Carmen Banks won Second place in the graduate oral research competition for her work, "Prolactin receptors in the kidney: What regulates their expression in pigs?" Carmen also won First place in the elevator speech competition about the importance of MANRRS.
  • Juliana Candelaria won First place in the graduate research poster competition for her work, "Follicle-simulating hormone receptor is expressed in bovine preantral follicles from primary to late secondary stage of development".
